Hello people,
I think the date for the previous post was wrong. It should have been yesterday, 29 Nov 2006. Likewise for the timing for all previous posts.. I actually wrote them at 9 plus at night. I definitely don't stay up to blog. Hee..
I couldn't make it to work today (even though I wish I can) - feverish and having a splitting headache, with a slight sore throat. Erm.. condition was already like that since yesterday, and previously at work also. Think my immune system "cannot make it" as compared to the past, maybe 'cos I was also born prematurely? .. and when things get more hectic as work and the term time towards graduation reaches. Somehow, I probably might have neglected my health indirectly. Getting a bit worried about my health, especially now that my weight has decreased slightly too.. and I hope the so-called “gastric pain” don’t come as well. (Still fine at the moment).
The trip to Polyclinic - Bukit Batok (accompanied by mom) was quite interesting. Raindrops flowing into the bus until almost all the seats were wet. Mom and I was smiling as we were "standing" at our seats. Luckily we were about to reach the stop.. *Lol*
Hmm.. Actually I prefer to go to the NHG PolyClinic, as compared to private clinics. Although the waiting time can be up to until 1 hr 20 mins; service is good, doctors are polite and charges are low, and that referrals to government hospitals are certainly cheaper. Guess I am "pro-government." =) Even my cousin said I have the civil servant look. So funny when my friends said I should not be in IRAS, 'cos I am not one who will tax people; when my teacher joked with me saying if he can pay less taxes since I am working here; lecturer and friends called and asked me about tax. *smile* :)
Gee.. Ok, back to the main topic. The doctor examined me and glad my blood pressure looks normal. Luckily he only prescribed two packs of panadols for me, 'cos I am really lousy at swallowing medicines, i.e. those big kinds like antibiotics. Haha.. He forgot to pass the prescription to me, and I got to return back to his room to ask from him. The number which was flashed remained at mine, but I went in and saw another patient - a kid with his parents inside. I looked at them smilingly, asked the doctor about my prescription but feeling a bit paiseh. Keke..
Even though I am unwell and weak; nevertheless, it made me smile when I think of the two incidents today. :D
Gonna take extra care of myself le.. Also drinking more water when work gets busy. (This is what my lecturer has told me.) ^_^
Back to work tomorrow. Looking forward to the weekends..
