Dearest friends,
Gee.. Didn’t expect my 2nd post would be up so fast. Really feel that this blog thingie is wonderful, in the sense that we are able to know our friends’ updates, especially with those whom we do not meet up that often. Anyway, my friends, thanks for taking time off to read my blog, ok? =)
It’s a nice feeling to reach home at 6plus today, when I have stayed back to work recently. Hmm.. Boarded the new train from the NS line, which was far more brighter, cooler and having more seats for the elderly. *How nice!* This is actually the government’s investment as stated in the papers. Was a miss as I have boarded at Novena and that I have to alight at Raffles Place where I transfer train to my home at Chinese Garden. =P
Erm.. Workload have been a bit hectic for me lately as compared to my peers. From the usual GRs and the monthly routine manning helpdesk duty, I have also worked on “Doubtful Returns”, “Loss Carry Back” and being appointed by my Manager to assist her with some property tax stuff. Our Managers told me they wanted my help as one of our seniors is away for the time-being. It may serve as a good exposure for me, however sometimes the pressure do comes in as all these work are urgent. Erm.. Trying to make full use of my every minute at work, and I guess I have neglected some of my fellow colleagues. Oh ya, my Net Writer has been recently stated as "CL - Busy With Work" and I guess they were afraid of disturbing me.. (My friends, so sorry, I just stated it for fun – no worries; feel free to come and look for me anytime, ya?) Keke.. Am glad this has only taken place after I came back from my exams, which means I can have more opportunities to work overtime. On the other hand, I know my beloved dad is waiting for my return to have dinner with him. Each time I call home to ask him to have his meal first, I can sense his slight disappointing tone. Whilst hoping to help my Managers to clear the work and having the sense of satisfaction of completing the tasks, I do have the urge to quickly return home to accompany my parents! :)
Haha.. I do have a friend saying “Losses can still be carried back de huh?” This was just implemented for YA 2005 and onwards. As for doubtful returns, there can be various types of errors made by Companies - Taxpayers (TP) or Tax Agents (TA), which require different approaches in handling them. Thank you to my pleasant seniors whom have guided me along the way – Le Ling jiejie, Yee Mien jiejie (who is sitting beside me), Soh Bee, Pui Eng jiejie, Irene.. Not to forget the rest who have been so friendly to me like Khee Khee, Carmen (sitting beside me), Kwee Yan, Joleen, Vijaya, Karin, Wai Fong, Peck Hua, Mui Choo etc, and my previous buddy – Wai San. (^_^) Proud to be in this big family. This is the place I Respond And Serve. ^_^
Am really delighted to be able to use the telelifts to deliver my completed stacks of doubtful returns to the Processing Centre (PC). Still remember vividly that the 1st time I have came across those “blue squarish vehicles” was at the age of eight when I went to NUH to visit a relative. Used to be fascinated by how these efficient telelifts can move by themselves, and didn’t expect that I would have come across them at work today. (“,)
Oh ya, before I forget, I would like to thank my good friend – Jinni who has sent me a nice testimonial yesterday, and an ex-colleague, Hannah who has sent me her kind regards. To me, it’s a joy to see such messages after a tiring day at work. I would always keep all of you in mind, ok? =D
Hee.. Got to sign off shortly. It has been a long post again - always have got so much thoughts and feelings to reflect.. Would do some decorations for my blog soon. Keke..
Yeah, departure to Batam with my family and my best friend - Xiang Hui soon! :p
Keep smiling always, ya? ;-)
Bye! Bye!
