Am putting on hold on my update to Batam yesterday, 'cos I would like to think of how I should insert everything neatly in place before I published it online. Hee..I would like to describe a nice person whom I have known recently - Xiuzhen auntie. ^_^
Woke up at 7.15am today (nothing unusual for me as I have used to waking up before 8am). Gee.. However, I have to accomplish an important task today – bringing my good friend, Sheryl to do rebonding at Xiuzhen auntie’s place. :P
We met at the 99 bus-stop which was the next stop after my place. Happily chatted for ½ an hr time before we alighted and walked to Xiuzhen auntie’s house at Jurong West St 91 (Jurong West Extension). I am familiar with the area as I have close relatives staying at St 72, St 92 and Westwood Walk. Erm.. Thanks to my sister’s ex-colleague who have recommended about Xiuzhen’s auntie service and that the both of us did rebonding under her. Gee.. This is the 2nd time I have done rebonding and I have like it.. Had it not been Xiuzhen auntie, I wouldn’t have such straight and long silky hair. Keke.. I brought my mom to have her hair permed last Sunday, today’s Sheryl’s turn and my couisn's next week. Glad to be able to accompany my friend down.. Hehe.. In fact, I was looking forward to this and have started doing a countdown three weeks back. Haha. I am just someone who can look forward to simple matters like this. *Grin* :-)
This is the 3rd time I have met Xiuzhen auntie. Hmm.. When I went for the 1st time, she thought I was only a 16yrs old secondary school gal (I'm 22) Keke.. I found her to be an extremely friendly lady who clicks with everyone well. She is very understanding and besides my beloved mom and others, she is one of those whom I like chatting with on any topic under the sun. Nice personality and polite - When I apologised for my thicker hair and that when the other hairdressers might complain about it, Xiuzhen auntie said "No, it's nicer this way." I am one who prefers natural black hair and she also agreed that I should maintain it as she commented on my very black hair. Haha.. Xiuzhen auntie provides excellent service – hair cut, trim, rebonding, perm, highlight, colour etc; irrespective of gender, races or nationality. Auntie also told us that she has helped done rebonding for a French lady, whose hair has been badly damaged last week, and the customer was absolutely satisfied! Was a slight pity that I have got to head for home ½ an hr before Sheryl’s new hairstyle was done, as I have got something to attend to. Kind of sorry to Sheryl as I have not been able to accompany her till everything was done, (I must definitely accompany her next time).. I know Sheryl is equally contented by Xiuzhen auntie’s service too – great yet so much affordable! (",)
Hee.. Hmm.. Even though I was unable to see the “end results” of Sheryl's, I was impressed by how auntie has mastered the *Art of Rebonding.* Lol.. She has been so well-described in forms (this was what my friends have told me). She receives so many calls everyday for appointments, from at least a week to a maximum of waiting for three weeks. *Smile* =)
As far as I know, rebonding is $60 for females, irregardless of the length of the hair and it might be cheaper if the length is shorter. For colouring, I think it’s $25; and if not, it’s just slightly a few dollars more. Cutting fringe is only a dollar and basically (like mine), I don't think Xiuzhen auntie would charge. Next, $16 for aunties to have their hair permed, and it seems that a haircut is only $4 for guys. Of course, the merit point is that there would not be any extra charge on festive occasions. Customers from islandwide travel to Xiuzhen’s auntie place for her service as it is highly accessible. Xiuzhen auntie is too good to be true.. >.^
Gee.. I guess Xiuzhen’s auntie likes me to bring more friends to her, and I am going to recommend it to more people whom I know by bringing them there – not only to help increase auntie's business but also to help my relatives and friends to get the cheapest and best hairstyle service in town! Even though this may mean auntie would be more busy, I hope she continues to be so well-liked by all and that her service consistently prospers! See you again in December, Xiuzhen auntie. =D
