An advanced Happy New Year to all! :)
Yeah, I have found a template that I like for my blog. (Smething simple and light, which I really desire). Trying to link my friends and cousins' blogs to mine, but I have not went to figure out how this should be done.. Hehe..
Time flies.. Can't imagine yesterday has been the last working day for 2006. Many have been on leave and going on vacations, including my Manager and my cousin, who is now in Spain.. *How Nice*.. Keke..
Received two new year greetings from my seniors, Vijaya and Cindy. ^_^ Then I heard those staff from the CT-RCPT (Corp Tax- Rulings, Charities, Private Lotteries and Trust) branch wishing happy new year to one another. My workstation is near the RCPT side, really feel "wo1 xin1" listening to their well-wishes. Haha!! =) At IRAS, we actually have a spacious workstation with a high partition. Glad to have Yee Mien jiejie's company as she is sitting next to me, and the RCPT Manager who will bid me goodbye after work everyday. Hmm.. I think he is a good Manager who has won much respect from his subordinates. Sending/receiving my new year to each other too! ;)
Met my Manager from another team when I went to work - heading to Chinese Garden station yesterday. She told me that I could go ahead first. Feeling bad 'cos I did not wait for her, I dropped a short message and apology to her via email. She was so nice when she sent a positive reply and sent her well-wishes to my family and me for the new year. Keke.. I guess many of us were having the holiday mood.. Haha!! Managers', seniors' and my friends' emails have brightened up my day. =D
Overall, 2006 has been a relatively fruitful yet rewarding year for me. Erm.. Enjoyed work and studying; glad to keep in touch with my lecturers; friends and ex-colleagues; delighted to see that my relatives esp my grandmother in the pink of health; got to know new friends when a nice friend brought me to his campus at NUS; 1st time sitting at the staircase at the crowded Orchard eating ice-cream with my friend; 1st visit to Gleneages Hospital to see my teacher's new born baby girl; attended my cousin's wedding solemnization; brought an ideal N6280 hp with my gratuity and dad striked lottery 1st prize with my number after three weeks; winning a prize at my 1st attended D&D, 1st time going for an autograph session on Jun Yang, 1st trip to Batam etc. I believe all these will bring fond memories to me when I reflect back on 2006. :-)
