I Love IRAS; I Love Tax
I have shifted to a new workstation.. Hee.. Still adjusting; but quite pleased with the current working environment.. Erm.. Actually the previous workstation belongs to CT-FA and should have been a temporary sitting arrangement from last May to July. Missing those sitting around me and my "neighbours", i.e. especially Yee Mien jiejie, Carmen, Bee Kuan and Mr Ang, . ^_^
It has been a joy to be sitting at the CT-FA side for the past few months. Very honoured, 'cos I have never expected to have the opportunity to interact with the professionals from the other branch.

Thanks for informing me of your move. Although we are no longer "neighbours", we will still bump into each other every now and then. It's also nice that you think favourably of me even though we have not crossed paths while working. Lunch was good... met up with Joleen... before she flies off.
Received another email from one of my seniors - Joleen, who will be going on long leave, 'cos her husband has been posted overseas for a year. I was caught by surprise when I saw that I was the only junior whom she has addressed her mail to. Very touched at that moment when I first read it.. Hope Joleen jiejie will have a safe and enjoyable trip. Overjoyed when she has left her email address to me.. Shall keep in touch with her; will miss her.. :D

Keke.. Really fortunate for getting to know so many nice colleagues at IRAS. Will cherish my stay, my work and everyone here... =P
Accompanied my close friend to her Taxation lecture last Friday, 'cos her appeal has not been successful. Another guy friend who returned back from overseas came for the lecture too. I was sitting between the two and busily copying notes for them. It hurts when I see my close friend (on my left) gotta take the module again when she shouldn't be, whilst my guy friend (on my right) looking down with his eyes closed for a moment - I believe he was quite exhausted after a long day of work. I actually went for the lecture 'cos I did not wish to see my close friend attending it alone, hoping that both friends can get to know each another better and then doing projects together.. If time permits, I shall attend lessons with them again soon. I hope my friends stay cheerful and optimistic always...
Got another news that a good friend of mine has officially closed his blog for the time-being. Erm.. Shocked and a bit disappointed, 'cos his blog is one of the nicest I have came across - with an attractive background and interesting topics to share. I believe his friends feel the same way as me too. We enjoy reading his blog.. Hope this friend will start up a new one soon..
