Luckily my Manager has approved my leave to Taiwan.. Yeah, we can fly on SQ 872 & 871 in seven days' time.. but don't know why, I am still not too excited for the trip, probably 'cos dad isn't going with us as he is not very keen on traveling, and that there are a few more issues in my mind.. Keke.. Anyway, it will be a short time and we will be back on 1st Jun. =)
I have got a good job offer working as a Tax Executive at a public-listed company at CityHall. I am not sensitive to salary wise issues, but due to confidentiality reasons, I think it is better I do not disclose the company here, unless my friends ask me personally). Working in the Tax field is an interest to me.. My job scope involves tax compliance for the group including preparation of income tax returns and computation, and drafting responses for tax queries..
The working environment and staff seem pleasant. I am extremely pleased with the attractive salary package also, and my basic salary will be much more than I have expected! It was even a coincident when Mr Ng told me my ex-senior from SP has worked in the company before. My position is a new one (not a replacement) due to some expansion. Hope everything turns out fine when I start work and take up the CPA course in July.. *wink* ;)
