Today's my last day manning Corporate Tax helpdesk. Picked up 66 calls (excluding the no. of follow-ups and voicemails) for the whole day from 08 30 to 17 00. Really glad to have Lee Imm, Julia and Siok Beng with me! Quite coincident to always be on duty with Lee Imm (jiejie). Feel that she speaks like my cousin, Geok En. They happened to be of the same surname too! This is what I have told her also! Hehe.. :)
One of the TaxPayers (TP) was rather fierce. Gotta listen to her complaints also. Keke.. I believe it was 'cos the due date for submission of the co's Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI) is drawing near (the co's by 30th June), and they did not want any penalties to be imposed. Generally, most TaxPayers were quite polite, especially those from the Big4s! :)
My peers said manning helpdesk (helpline) is "hell-line", and they are happy/envious that mine has came to an end. Lee Imm jiejie is happy for me; I told her I do feel "yi1 yi1 bu4 she3." I feel that it is a good exposure..
Will miss everyone in CT-Gen and those in other divisions whom I know, especially Lee Imm, Julia, Mei Lan (who is of the same name as my couisn), Mee Feon, Le Ling, Siok Peing, Peck Hua, Karin, Kwee Yan. Wai Fong, Jasmine, Su Lynn, Yu-Ru, Li Fang, Cindy, Geok Peng, Esther, Pi Ting, Peay Kiang, Danny, Alan, Robin, Sek Hoong etc.. Hope I better not get too emotional next Fri..
