Dear friends,
How are all of you going along? =)
Gee.. It has been quite sometime I last visited my blog. Miss this site and writing posts. Keke.. Anyway, I’ll not be giving it up, especially since it has been an encouragement and influence from my friends. Hee..
Read today’s ST and saw a variety of job openings in the Recruitment section. I realize how fortunate I am – to get a rewarding job with nice bosses and colleagues. SembCorp’s 2nd Quarter results are released and the performance of the organization has been relatively overwhelming. Great!! Our marine group company was one of the key sponsors of this year’s NDP. The parade was awesome!
My friend –Melvin is very thoughtful. He actually bought books on jokes and reaches office early to send us one each morning. I would always wonder what he would be sending in the morning. It’s like a little surprise to me everyday and even though it is only a simple act, I really appreciate his nice gestures.
However, in the previous email that his friend has wrote and cc to us, he actually stated “Melvin, you very free huh?” Although I have hardly been unhappy with others, I was a bit so this time, even though I was not too sure on whether he was just stating jokingly. Seeing such incident, I know this is the time I should stand up for my friend. I replied his friend politely by stating “This is not called free, we should really appreciate it, especially when he is sending you and the rest before work”, and further added “Who would be as thoughtful as Melvin?” =) I actually followed his way of sending jokes every morning and hope my friends like them as well… I think it is Melvin’s credit each time my friends said they like my jokes. Haha! =p
Hmm.. I managed to help Sheryl’s cousin’s friend to look for three sellers to sell their Master Tax Guide. Glad to have helped my three friends to earn some allowances and the other parties to save some money. I am happy to do things for people… :)
Yesterday I received an email from Mrs Chong to invite me back to the campus on the 5yr DAC Course Review on 29 Oct. I was elated yet worried -Delighted in the sense that I can help my ex-lecturer out, but on the other hand, in a dilemma as I might have utilized my leave for my CPA exam prior to that day. Hmm.. I think it’s ok, as long as I plan my leave wisely. I guess the others would not really like going back, since Mrs Chong had to even use Mr Ng’s name on the online assessment to boost up the response rate months back. Anyway, I look forward to seeing all the lecturers again. Miss Ms Ang too! Who knows – I may go back to look for my colleagues and seniors at IRAS. Wow!! Very excited le!! Keke..
Hmm.. Look forward to collecting the graduation gown at Serangoon Broadway on Wednesday evening. I hope I’ll be able to locate the way there and that my friends would be able to change their date to mine. Pray hard! Keke.. ;-)
Ah ma (grandma)’s lunar birthday coincidently falls on my graduation day. Erm.. Her birthday celebration should be in the weekend before that week. I’m very happy to see my maternal grandmother in good health and spirits, even though she’s around 90. Yeah! I also look forward to seeing my relatives and cousins, especially little Juncong and Shuying! =^.^=
Cheers!
