27/08/2007; 13 29Had a great time at Ah ma's birthday celebration last evening. Happy to see ah ma was so delighted! Thanks to big aunt's family who has helped ordered the sumptuous buffet dinner. Had a good time chatting with one another, especially Ah Hui jiejie who was telling us about her business trip at New Zealand three weeks ago. Haha!! Managed to take a few pictures with Juncong and Shuying. The way Juncong picked at one of our cars to take pictures was damn funny!! Anyway, uncle's family has three cars - all with the car-plate numbers of 7777, with one of them a Merz. So interesting!! So if anyone happens to notice one with "7777" on the road, it may happen to be my uncle's. *Wink* ;) My cousin has brought his new girlfriend along. She is Xiaopei. Very sweet and gentle lady who is also a teacher! Hmm.. Think my cousin and her looks compatible! So happy for them! Hee..
Went out with Li Ying on Sat to four places on Saturday just to get a more nicer and appropriate blouse for our convocation. We have also ordered 10 stalks of sunflowers for the 10 of us. So funny to imagine the scene whereby each of us will be holding a sunflower to take pictures as well. The florist shop at Clementi wasn't open, but we didn't really make a wasted trip, because I saw the studio shop 'Li2 Ming2" where my couisn's family (the one whom I have mentioned above) took their family cum graduation photo. Ah Hui jiejie graduated with ACCA whilst Ah En jiejie graduated from NUS Honours, with my uncle and his wife and Zhi Liang (The siblings' younger brother). Wow, they photo was being displayed: "24cm by 30cm." Perfect! Anyway, Ah Hui jiejie was saying Zhi Liang was sick that time, so if we have taken a closer look, his face was rather pale "Nian3 Qing1 Qing1" kind. Haha! Saw the family photo at their house yesterday, but it was another one. The disaplyed photo at the studio is larger. =) Maybe I should take a picture of their photo one day!! They are such a blissful family!!
Li Ying and I went to IMM, VivoCity and Tiong Bahru Plaza. We managed to get a blouse each from G2000 from the latter two places, cos the branch at IMM did not have what we wanted. The blouses cost $59, rather ex but we are pretty satisfied with it. Fortunately, Li Ying took one and I took the other. If she really happens to get the blouse I like also, I would accommodate her.. Great that it was still a "win-win solution." I wouldn't want a blouse to strain our friendship, cos it's totally not worth it. We will always be great friends - she is "Lion", while I am "Tiger." (There's actually a story behind it!) Heh.. and it has been a few years that we have addressed each other this way - but only via smses lah. Keke..
Now looking forward to convocation.. Hopefully my family and I, or my friends and I will be going out after the function. Will be great if I can meet up with my friend later as well.. Oh ya, we gonna have a 'teambuilding" event at Sentosa next Monday. Wonder what that is all about.. Looking forward to that too.. and the new gal who will be stepping in on the 19th next month!
